Spökskeppet vid vikingagården – en konstfull familjedag i Ale
Welcome to a family day about ghost ships and the power of water. We dig into questions about creating history, choosing perspective and how water can transform a place. These issues are illustrated through artworks by two local artists – one ice sculpture which interprets Äskekärrsskeppet, our own ghost ship, and one installation which brings up the topic about how our tendency to select a specific and narrow viewpoint affects our perception of reality and our creation of history. We offer workshops in ice sculpturing, water colour painting and archaeological excavating. You can also join guided tours on art, history and heritage. The event has free admission and “fika” for sale.
Participants
Artists Mohannad Solaiman and Gabriel Colliander. In addition, a number of other actors and people from the cultural unit in Ale municipality participate.
