Rekreation som tanke och plats

Slottsskogen, a park created according to the national romantic model, has since its inauguration been a place for a variety of acts: dance pavilions with record releases, Gothenburg Natural History Museum, a bear cave, a suicide tree, free church sobriety movements, a children’s zoo, and now Dômen art school. Allthough a place that has changed over time, the national romantic heritage still haunts its corridors and paved walkways. The park as a social structure for recreation is investigated – What is recreation? Who uses the park and how? Dômen’s students tell us about our time through the mirror of the past. History is just around the corner and we are still working on the future.
