As part of Gothenburg Kulturnatta we play host to new work from Nottingham based artist Beth Kettel. Kettel will present a new moving image work produced from field recordings, experiments and compositions. With an interest in meaning-making, Kettel will layer a series of mythological, historical and philosophical ideas using text, imagery and sound exploring physical and psychological experience. Continuing Kettel’s research into ecology, consciousness and mental health of humans, plants and animals, along with non-verbal and interspecies communication strategies such as contact calls, mimicry, body language and vibrations.
