Bed Rock
Bed Rock is a collaborative project initiated by visual artists Agnes Mohlin and Yoeri Guépin. Bed Rock brings together a group of international artists for a working period at Konstnärernas Kollektivverkstad Bohuslän. The artists are invited to the post-industrial ecosystem that has settled in the material remnants of the (former) stone industry. As lichen associations we depart from exposed bedrock stratifications, left forever as silent witnesses of the social, economic and political histories that have emerged from interactions with the landscape of Bohuslän. The working period will be concluded with an exhibition presenting the outcome of the projects.
