Artist talk – Marit Lindberg och Glömda minnens bibliotek 

Marit Lindberg works first and foremost with video and performances where she creates and examines social situations, often connected to a specific place or an historical event. Marit creates an architecture of memories that she gathers from interviewing local participants. Therefore most of the content and substance in Marits artprojects is decided in communication with the local communities with whom she works. ”What happens with people who are confronted by their forgotten memories?” Marit will also talk about her scholarship stay at the Brunnsnäs estate in Ulricehamn during the summer of 2021. What was it like to stay at a manor house with memories possibly dating back to the 16th century?
