Theo Ågren – Bortom rådande omständigheter

The exhibition Beyond Current Circumstances turns and twists our accustomed approaches to the environment and it challenges our imagination. An ingredient in many of the exhibition’s sculptures and images are some of the things we are used to surrounding ourselves with in everyday life. Things that we take for granted and usually don’t reflect much on. The works open up to the unexpected, humorous and slightly surreal, but through their everydayness they do not let go of contact with reality. Rather, they are new proposals for how the relationship between man, object and nature can play out in a changing contemporary world, and how we can together venture into a future unknown to all of us.
