Runa Rosgaard – Road To Ruins
The solo exhibition Road To Ruins by the artist Runa Rosgaard is shown in Galleri Konstepidemin’s venue Bergrummet. The exhibition investigates imagination and escapism as well as historical make-believe. It centers around a scenographic installation that in part is inspired by the norwegian fairy tale The Three Billy Goats Gruff about three goats having to cross a bridge under which a hungry troll resides. This childish fear of the “monster under the bed” is connected to the baroque practice of constructing “folly” ruins and landscapes for the sake of prompting the imagination of royalty.
