Merete Lassen – Line up

The solo exhibition Line up by the artist Merete Lassen is shown in Galleri Konstepidemin’s inner room of the main gallery space. In the exhibition Lassen has drawn inspiration from details in Gothenburg’s cityscape. Details that become like puzzle pieces for new compositions. An excerpt from the city, a made-up story, a curiosity about what’s going on behind the facade and under the awning. Colors and lines combined that remind of a time gone by and a life that continues. Colors and lines that bring memories and stories to life. A summer long ago, something that happened, or something completely made–up.
