Lost Days/ New Days

Högsbotorp was built around a square and a school in the first half of the fifties. Adjacent areas at Högsbohöjd and in Frölundaborg were completed almost a decade later. What is there to remember from the time when people moved out to Högsbo? What can you tell us about life in the district today? What is there to understand about the importance of a place to the people who live and have lived there? An installation can be an object that seeks cooperation with its surroundings. By presenting site-specific works based on the district’s history, Marko Cesarec, Lars Embäck and Anne Marte Overaa hope that the exhibition will reflect Högsbo’s identity today and a possible local future.
