Laleh Kazemi Veisari – Den som visar mig skogen

The solo exhibition Den som visar mig skogen  by the artist Laleh Kazemi Veisari is shown in the inner room of Galleri Konstepidemin’s main gallery. Veisari has been following people who work with forestry in Finland’s North Ostrobothnia. A photograph bleached by the sun, found in the artist’s family home, becomes the starting point of her work, which considers that particular intuition that could only grow with knowledge and care of the forest. 

Laleh Kazemi Veisari’s ongoing work with archives and language leaves traces in visual and literary expressions. Her interdisciplinary practice embraces drawing, painting, sculpture, and writing, with installations that develop and entangle questions of displacement and memory.
