Ångpannegatans processer, a return.

In 2018-2021, the Ångpannegatans processer project took place in connection with Backaplan at Hisingen in Gothenburg. A group of artists carried out a project in collaboration with the City of Gothenburg and Statens konstråd (Kunskapsnav offentlig konst) to work for strengthened knowledge development in the field of public art and design of public environments.

But what happened after the project?

Promenade: starting from Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen, we visit the three semi-permanent works that were created during the project and talk based on questions about place, time and art. What is a project and how are artists used in urban development today?
