I want to show an alternation between possibilities, which often shift between clarity and obscurity. An exploration of identity through different layers. The layers connect and separate as an abstraction for a life of memories, searching and thinking. Breaking down and rebuilding the images with different materials gives me opportunities to create a layered reality. The images are experimentally processed layers. What can be seen and what is covered allows the viewer to enter the work and create a personal narrative. Mixed media in large formats, cotton fabric, transfer, organic material, acrylic paint, paper, and pigment.
