Total Supply 2013
Nanna Nordström builds her sculptural installations on the inevitable gaps and failures that occur in the process of translating an idea into an object. It is a placement and displacement of elements under constant threat of collapse. Objects and materials speak not as singularities, they are “placed” or “thrown” bricolage constructions, constituted by an immediate physicality and the possibility of a narrative. In this multitude of gestures, form is the result of an embodied thinking.
